ELLAH BLUE'S FIP STORY
In July this year Ellah Blue will be officially cured of FIP for 3 years. We almost lost her to this dreaded disease before her 1st birthday. After endless tests and ultrasounds we were advised to euthanize Ellah. She was diagnosed with FIP and going downhill fast. I was desperate. After doing some research I came across a newly published paper by Dr Neil’s Pedersen. Thinking I had nothing to lose, I emailed him via his contact info on his paper. To my surprise he replied within the hour. He advised me to join FIP Warriors on FB and he assured me they would connect t me to the right people to access the drug I needed. Sure enough, I was put in contact with Ruth and then as if by fate, with Heather, who was practically in our back yard. Heather was a life line for us. She was our source for the medication, support and any and every else we needed through the treatment. I will be forever indebted to Heather and Mutian. I wish this treatment was an option for every cat receiving a FIP diagnosis.
