PEACHES' FIP STORY

Peaches is the only surviving kitten from her litter. When she was seven months old she started to look unwell. Our vet quickly suspected FIP, which we had never heard of. We were given three options by the vet: 1. humane euthanasia; 2. steroids to lessen the severity of her symptoms for a short time, or 3. connect with the FIP group on our own. After connecting with the supportive members of FIP Warriors Canada, we started Peaches on the antiviral treatment the next day. She was back to her normal energy after a week. We saw the treatment through the 84+ injections and through the observation period. Peaches blood work through post-treatment / observation was normal and she is now a FIP survivor! Peaches is currently 14 months old. Our family is relieved and grateful we chose to pursue treatment with FIP Warriors Canada.
