KIRBY'S FIP STORY

Kirby was diagnosed in September 2020 with wet FIP, he was only 5mos old. He had been sick with a fever, no appetite, no energy and a swollen belly for a month before his diagnosis. We started treatment immediately with GS-441524 which we obtained from FIP Warriors Canada. We started seeing improvement within a day, he started to act like a kitten again. We completed the full course of 84 days and his bloodwork was near perfect by the time we entered to observation period. A few weeks after Kirby started observation, our other cat (unrelated) started to display FIP symptoms. We took him to the vet and his status was confirmed. We started his treatment a few days later, but unfortunately we’re too late and he passed a day after starting his treatment. It is now 1 year since Kirby’s diagnosis and he couldn’t be happier and healthier with no relapses.
