Leo's Fip Story

I would like to thank the FIP Warriors Canada FB group who helped me during a very stressful time with my Leo. They always answered all of my questions and they were a great support. I am so grateful that I found this group and for them helping me get the medication that I needed for Leo. Leo was only four months old when he was diagnosed with wet FIP. He was extremely anemic, his abdomen was swollen and filled with fluid, no appetite and no energy. I was told by my vet that there was no treatment that he could provide and that Leo did not have much time to live. He heard of others using a medication that possibly could help Leo but he was not able to prescribe it as it was not available to vets so I went online and found the FIP Warriors Canada FB group. They helped me right away and I started giving injections to Leo. He started getting better very quickly. His appetite came back and he had the energy of a typical kitten. After months of injections, he was finally cured! Now Leo is 3 years old and full of life! Curious, energetic and has a huge appetite! I wish that they would approve this medication and that vets could give this to parents who might be facing the same situation.
